Angle Peen and Double Drawing Hammers
These are the different styles
and sizes of my "Angle Pien" and "Double Drawing" hammers.
Since talking about them in my
Basic Bladesmithing Video, many people have requested these
hammers.
I am now accepting orders. On the lower left is the 1.5lb version, in
the
middle is the 2.0lb version, and in the upper right is the "Double
Drawing"
hammer (2.0lb)
Price for any of these hammers is $121 plus shipping without a handle, $146 plus shipping with "split" handle installed.
Early in my Bladesmithing career, I found that traditional cross and straight pien hammers were very unnatural and uncomfortable to use (the peen side), and after seeing this type of hammer at a blacksmith gathering, I began to experiment with making my own. I have produced a number of them through the years, but until now have not offered them for sale.
