On 29 January, 2009 I was honored
to be inducted into The Montana Circle of American Masters.
What is it?
"Montana's Circle of American Masters
in Visual Folk and Traditional
Arts" celebrates the contributions of Montana's master artists
in
visual traditional and folk arts. Throughout their lifetime, a member
of Montana's Circle of American Masters has created a notable body of
work.
Of significant cultural and
artistic stature, their work
represents the historic, traditional, and innovative arts and
handcrafts distinctive to the State.

Although I have never been
much for "tooting" my own horn, I am very honored to have been chosen
as one of only 11 individuals to be
honored with this Induction/Award.
