Albums: I've been looking for a way to add more
information to my site, and after stumbling around, I came across Web
Albums. I thought it would be a nice way to put more information
online, without eating up my website server space. So far I have
uploaded albums on Installing a foot swith on the KMG disc grinder,
Frame Handled Bowie, some pics of the new paint job on my Toyota
pickup, and an album of a "Fossil Damascus" bowie. You can find
them all at Web Albums

down in November, to revamp/update the website, and will start building
my 2009 schedule at that time. Classes will be scheduled on a
first come, first served basis. Just as a note, I only
teach one-on-one, this means that my attention can be directed towards
the individual. If your interested in classes, contact me with
some dates that you have in mind, and I will compare then to already
filled dates.

From Blade Magazine.....

EBK is A-OK
"ABS
Mastersmith Ed Caffrey is well known
for his fancy mosaic damascus dress bowies and folders, but also has a
strong
lineup of user-grade, no-frills knives. His little EBK (Ed's Belt
Knife) is a hot ticket for someone seeking a small utility knife
that is made by an ABS Mastersmith and that will not cost an arm and a
leg. I have used my EBK to cut my steak in New York
City - due to the Big Apple's knife restrictions, something I do not
recommend - field dress a deer and do numerous small knife tasks.
With a thin, 2.5 inch 1080 carbon steel blade complete with an
attractive temper line and a G-10 handle, the EBK is a small but power-
ful cutter that is ideal for most daily tasks. The blade takes a
razor-sharp edge and is a good all-around shape. I simply drop
mine
sheathed in my pants pocket, where its flatness goes unnoticed
until needed. The EBK starts at $165 for one in "straight"
carbon
steel and a bit more for Ed's great damascus."
